Permafrost gave me a good question for OPP Poll....
Should there be an upper age limit to become POTUS? And I also add ....Should there be term limit for Congress people?

Yes, there should be an upper age limit for POTUS of 78 for starting the first 4 year term. Congress should be limited to 4 terms if it is a four year term or 6 terms if the office they have is a 2 year term.

This is hard to say as its on a case by case basis.
Example 1: Biden He has had numerous conditions that have affected his mental capability to do the job. It is embarrassing when he attempts. I think it must be a Dem characteristic to go the costlier, less efficient way of getting things done. He is the oldest president I think and does little or no strenuous physical activity. on the other hand
2. Trump is also 80 and plays golf and is much more in shape, especially since his c***d scare.
The thing here is that to be truly healthy, a time must be spent regularly to maintain one's fitness

Yes! I am also beginning to think SCOTUS should have term limits; say 16 or 20 years.

If a minimum age for POTUS can be set why not a maximum? Congress will never agree to term limits so the question is moot.

What we really need is a minimum IQ. Biden is the dumbest President and was the dumbest Senator and V.P. we have ever had.

Senators are elected for six years and their terms are staggered so that only 1/3 of them come up for e******n every two years. The Senate is supposed to be more deliberative and less inclined to act hastily so as to counter the whims of the People's House which is elected every two years. The 17th amendment changed all that for the e******n of Senators by popular v**e instead of by state legislatures. Now, senators are no longer active in the interest of the states they represent, and the result has been a bigger federal bureaucracy at the expense of the states having less power and influence. We should start by repealing the 17th Amendment, and include term limits for Congress (2 consecutive terms maximum for Senators, 3 consecutive terms maximum for Representatives, 16 years for SCOTUS Justices).

From my observation of Congress , their term limit should be about 20 minutes.

Absolutely, if the minimum had been set at 61, instead of the current minimum of 59, he never could have run, thereby sparing us this grief.

You have a serious problem if you think trump is 80 & in good shape. Trump is 74 and obese.
