Black L***s M****r activist Bree Newsome believes that knife fights are just the norm and that police should not interfere at all. Newsome made the comments in reference to the Makhia Bryant shooting in Columbus, Ohio who was seen on multiple cameras lunging and attacking another woman with a knife.

Newsome said that “Teenagers have been having fights including fights involving knives for eons. We do not need police to address these situations.”

Her take was that anyone who calls police to the scene of a knife fight is the one that needs help, and she means that “sincerely.” For Newsome, police being called to a knife fight is nothing but w***e s*******y.

A marksman didn't see the need to shoot to wound, it was death or nothing...........................and to make sure that death occurred..................................shot 4 rounds at point blank range.

As usual you don’t have your facts straight. Historically, English cops carried Billy clubs, now more & more are carrying guns. They have their SWAT teams.

Stabbings in England have gotten so bad they have restrictions on knives that can be ordered on line.

If one of the founders of b*m thinks b****s k*****g b****s is a sacred rite of some kind & police trying to stop it is w***e s*******y then by all means, I think police should quit responding.

It isn’t that they’re trying to stop it. It’s the manner in which they try to stop it.
Why would f*****ts care if b****s are trying to stab each other. Or why would they even try to stop it. A gun at a knife fight is a bit of Overk**l, no?
After all the hand to hand training they receive.
The first option is to shoot.
Because they were afeared for their life.
That gets a bit old. In a knife fight.
“To Protect and Serve”. Always comes to mind.
This has somehow t***spired into to “protect yourself and serve up wh**ever it takes.”
They act irrationally and complain because police get no respect.
To get respect you need to give respect.

Absolutely - and that's the way it should be. Do you expect police (or anyone for that matter) to disarm themselves to the same level as the criminal so it will be "fair"? Ludicrous

Shooting to wound is Hollywood stuff not real world.

But it sure does look like poor training resulted in a needless death. However, people have to also remember the knife wielder had bad intentions.
