I believe he is guilty also. I think he should be charged with third-degree manslaughter.
It was not premeditated,
One again, we cannot resist arrest without consequences.

Ahhhhhh, no.

He would not be in this position if not for the actions of one Who should have Still been in prison from his previous actions, many of them.

The supposed victim brought this to himself, and he paid the ultimate price for his self imposed ignorance.

He should have just put Jalapeños on it and had lunch.

At the beginning yes....but than he was cuffed with his hands behind his back, laying on his stomach,he did not present any danger to the police at that time...And than when he lost conciousness, it was time to get off his neck...PERIOD!!!!

I do not think Floyd’s family should profit off of this in any way, shape or form.
We cannot start rewarding people for bad behavior.

At the point from very early on where he was handcuffed and on his stomach there was zero resistance to arrest, it was impossible to comply with orders to get in the back of the car with two or three cops on him, we all know that a handcuffed person needs help to get to a standing position, and a handcuffed person no matter how big or non compliant poses very little threat to three cops.

Chauvin had way too many reasons over way too much time he needed to get off Floyd, especially when other officers were telling him he wasn't breathing and needed to be checked for a pulse. Continuing to stay on his neck past that time gets into where it would be understood keeping up the pressure would k**l. In MMA a choke hold that renders unconsciousness will k**l if kept up past that point. Chauvin had other officers and a paramedic trying to intervene and get him to disengage, which is why he deserves charges that result in prison.

Chauvin had control of Floyd from the start, which means nine minutes of what he was doing was entirely unnecessary, this is about sending a message this is no longer acceptable...which is the reason for maximum penalties versus minimums.
