In an incendiary speech Saturday at a Mar-a-Lago fundraiser for the Republican National Committee, Trump yet again baselessly claimed the e******n had been illegally stolen from him. He attacked former Vice President Mike Pence for lacking “the courage” to block v**ers’ choice of Joe Biden as president. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) called on her party Sunday to move on from former President Donald Trump, saying in an interview on “Face The Nation” on CBS that he’s peddling his old lies and continuing to wage “war on the Constitution.”

He expressed no regrets about, nor remorse for, the deadly Capitol r**t, The Washington Post reported.

“The former president is using the same language that he knows provoked violence on J****** 6th,” Cheney said of the speech. “As a party, we need to be focused on the future. We need to be focused on embracing the Constitution — not embracing i**********n.”

The “e******n wasn’t stolen,” she flatly declared. “There was a judicial process in place. If you attack the judicial process and you attack the rule of law, you aren’t defending the Constitution. You’re at war with the Constitution,” the lawmaker added. “For us as a party going forward, we have to embrace the Constitution and we also have to put forward positive solutions.”

Cheney also spoke about fellow Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz (Fla.), calling the sex trafficking allegations against him “sickening.”

Cheney said she would await the results of various investigations of his actions concerning possible sex trafficking of an underage girl, and concerns about possible ethics violations. But she added that as a mother of daughters, “the charges certainly are sickening.” Gaetz has denied all allegations against him.

Gaetz bashed Cheney early this year after she v**ed to impeach Trump for incitement of i**********n at the Capitol, and held a rally in her state calling for her ouster.

Cheney wasn’t the only Republican upset by Trump’s speech.

“Anything that’s d******e is a concern and is not helpful for us fighting the battles in Washington and at the state level,” Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.) referred in a tweet to Trump’s attack in his speech on Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) as a “dumb son of a b***h.” Kinzinger noted sarcastically: “Classy as always.” He added: “I remember when my fellow Republicans would have condemned this stuff but, that was a whole four years ago.”

He worked hard for this country but the MSM didn't tell you about how good we had it. Like Time magazine said they had an agenda to paint Trump incompetent and make v**ers less likely to v**e for him. The democrats control the press and they still can't make biden look good.

trump was all about trump first, hard to believe you can't see that.

Can you produce the evidence? No, you can't or you would have. Three Impeachments and the entire left slandered him for four years and he came out smelling like a rose. Who're the real crooks, the Left and RINOs. You're just making yourselves look more and more guilty about stealing that last e******n. Dipsticks, one and all. Almost time to hang you all, too. Free speech and Freedom of religion and you stomp all over it. Is there anything in the Constitution you guys approve of? I don't think so. Time to exit the stage dipsticks. Just use stage left and take your stumbling, bumbling f**e president with you.

Conservatism is a regressive ideology and as soon as it got a toehold in the Republican party it drug it down to the depth that we find it today. Well at least it sucked all the conservative filth out of the Democrat party, I'm just sorry to see what it has done to what was once a Grand Ole Party...sad!

Some people just can't handle the t***h. Now you know how we felt when he allowed Hillary to walk and we had much more evidence she was guilty as sin, deleting 30K emails, smashing her phone with a hammer (who does that), and selling Uranium to Russia, and I won't mention her going to pedo island, oops, too late, and stealing money meant for Haiti. You guys are the lowest of the low. I think Spirit Cooking is pretty regressive myself. How far back do you really want to go? Ba'al maybe?

How far back do you want to go on trump, his stealing from a charity set up for veterans or maybe his s**m university and he was made to pay millions out on both of those court decisions. You ignore trumps court failings and bring up things that Clinton was never convicted on. you got a lot of nerve calling someone the lowest of low when Republicans are looking up from the gutter.

Please explain just how Trump`s accusations are an attack on the Constitution!!!! The Democrats accuse the Republicans of wrong doing all the time, SO, that must mean they attack the Constitution when they attack also!! Your 'article' should be named 'Hypocrisy at it`s Finest' - not to mention that Huff Post is a biased Democrat owned piece of garbage!!

Only have the border crisis to go on??? Are you serious??? Let`s 'go on' the fact that Biden support the c*******t green new deal! Let`s 'go on' him giving c*******t China access to our power grid! Let`s 'go on' how he is attacking the 2nd amendment with all of his outrageous fees and taxes to make it more difficult for Americans to own firearms to defend themselves!! These are just foe starters!! The border crisis is a MAJOR problem that your comment sounds like it is just a trivial mishap!! How is this allowing this for the 'common good' of the country?? How is letting unvetted i******s into the country for the 'common good' of the country?? Jobs lost will be regained HOW?? What are the plans for this?? How could Biden have gotten an intact Constitution with out Trump keeping it that way??
