Most of it right now is because of Meghan Markle. I want Harry to be happy, but I don't see how he can be in California. It might be a novelty for now, but he will be aching to go home soon, if not already, imo. He is a descendant of Kings and Queens, for Pete's sake! He belongs in England. You can take the royal out of England, but you can't take England out of the royal....

Personally England should throw out the whole lot of them.
But I will say this. Given the job of Queen at an early age, she carried out the duties, wh**ever they were, with a sense of class, and so did Prince Phillip.
But from there on down, is a great big mixture of clowns including their spouses. Dump them all when the Queen goes.

There’s been talk of doing that for many years... The Monarch symbolizing the country, not really the nuts and bolt of it with the “ commoners” fed up with all the costs and luxuries of them now..
The Monarch having to spend more time in letting the “ commoners” see them as people instead of the elitist...
While its unlikely the monarchy will be abolished the monarchy as an institution is all about the monarch and her direct heirs..Its obvious the the royals are "becoming increasingly out of place in contemporary society" and face many a scandal others find rather offensive, Andrew with Epstein, Harry with the trouble maker, not my words what a good number of the people of The UK call her, etc
It would take legislation, an act of Parliament, and signed by the Sovereign to end the monarchy," but in tome, not now, it may not sustain itself... I mean how many once a monarch are now not???
