Great goals.

They are usually called objectives but goals work. What else?

The MSM never cared about the t***h, only their agenda.

What puzzles me are the huge groups of educated white professionals in media and government feverishly working for their own demise.
It's like a pilot flying a complex aircraft and turning over the controls to a complete incompetent just because the complete incompetent yells "unfair".
The plane will crash soon, but gosh darnitt that pilot was no bigot in thinking that he was the only one to fly that plane; even if he really was.

Bob says "great goals". He may be right. That does not mean the process is right, is functional, or that the goals will be met. From what I've seen it does a lot of harm, pulls down all students, and helps few to none. It certainly attempts to teach kids a philosophy of life that is foolish and unrealistic. It should be called Indoctrination 101.

They are fueled by their Trump h**e which just won't go away and it is now directed at the republican party as a hold over. They have also forgotten what journalism is and have become pundits, unable to report news but to paint it with hypes directed along the lines of the l*****t, most of the time, agenda.

Agreed. I suppose he just assumes the MSM will say "It's just Joe being Joe!" That's what they have done for decades. Why would they stop now?

Same as the far right press giving Donny a pass on all his grifting. Did not happen, right?

The far left and MSM are having a field day with Trump s**mming supporters and Matt Gaetz preference for young bodies.

The far right are having a field day with the boarder crises and how Biden screwing that up and his gun grab is atrocious.

What free country does not allow it’s citizens to walk about heavily armed? Come on, you have to have a well regulated m*****a to protected the country, which could not afford a free standing army from the invading British (before Canada was a country) from the North or the rightful landowners, the Natives from within.

Rascal, you are too bright not to understand. Why do you pretend that your statements have anything to do with the 2ndA? Your statements (about guns) is true enough, as far as they go, but that is not what the 2ndA does. It's one and only purpose is to assure that We The People are not subjugated by our own government. That's it. And that, my friend, is why America is the most free nation on earth, and has remained that way....until the democrats decided that the Constitution either does not apply, or is outdated, or is a "living" document that they get to interpret however they choose. The 2ndA insures all other freedoms, and if they ever push Americans too far, then they will be dealt with the way the Constitution intends.

They mistakenly claim that the guidelines tell teachers how to teach. They do not. There has been a lot of false press by mostly teachers claiming that there bizarre teaching techniques are lined out in the guideline, but they are not. Gov Abbott in Texas was opposed to them, citing things like I just mentioned that he had seen in videos. In an interview he was confronted by one of the administrators involved in their development, pointing out how wrong he was but it went in one of Abbotts ears and out the other.

I personally like Common Core. It gets teachers on the same page for what we want students to know and be able to do.

I assure you that I fully understand every word of it. The m*****a is part of it. So is "shall NOT be infringed."
It is clear that you are trying to tie the two together, and use that as a way to get around the word NOT. It will not work. The wording is clear. The history is clear. The Federalist Papers are clear. Personal and public letters by the founders is clear. The SCOTUS rulings on the matter are clear.
You don't like it? You want to change it? Fine. There is a process in place to do so. It is called Amending the Constitution. Any thing else is illegal, violates the Constitution, and will almost certainly trigger the consequences of "pushing us too far" I mentioned earlier.

Just for fun, look up the historical meaning of the term "bear arms." It does cast a bit of a different look into the meaning of the second amendment.

You are going to need to explain it to them. Looking something up might hurt

Been there. Done that. Manipulating the meaning of words and phrases is a very old liberal trick. I know what the original intent was, and still is.
