My first indirect contact with racial quotas was in 1974, when I met a fellow at college, a brilliant man, who lost out to a less qualified minority student for admittance to MIT. During college, when I taught Physics labs, I saw many more examples. Exchange students brought in who could not speak or understand the English language, but they helped the university meet quotas. In the decades since, I have seen this stupidity applied many times, and have not seen a single example where good came from it. I deplore r****m in ANY form. Including the quotas system that the left loves so much.

I faced that when applying to become a Chicago Fireman. The i***t Mayor gave a test for fireman that was written by a black man paid to write a non discriminatory test. Then when almost no b****s made the top percentages the Mayor instead of going top down, went to 90% and above and then random picks within that. And after that wound down, the minorities sued again and were given back pay as if they were chosen first instead of their intellectual level.

It is simple. You chose the best. I don't care what color someone is when my house is burning, I just want the best, and make sure they really know what the hell they are doing. Anyone who thinks different isn't thinking.

Second: I have spent thousands of hours flying in the Air Traffic Control system. I personally know how critical
high level competency and precision is. I don't want anyone in a tower that is not the best. There is zero room for mistakes. And yes , I have been in towers and FAA facilities many times. I have also provided the "target" many times for controllers practice of surveillance approaches.
So halfwit, try to learn just one thing. When you are in a hole it is best to stop digging.

Easy to say, harder to prove. When we the last time you flew a precision approach? Obama did nothing of the sort. Nothing happens in the ATO without approval of their union. PATCO got slapped, the new union is smarter. Even under trump, they slowed things down to end the gov't shutdown. Been in any towers where 80% of the personnel weren't white males? How about TRACONs or entire facilities? No, I don't think so. You're a f**e. BTW, as far as being in a hole, you are a hole.

I took the Civil Service exam for a Post Office job. I was the first one finished and answered every question correctly. There was another applicant, a black woman who was the last done, didn't finish the test and barely passed. Guess who got the job? Hint, it wasn't the guy who finished first with a perfect score, nor was it the other two white guys or the black guy (who scored nearly as high as me) or the three white women. A black woman is two minorities for the price of one. One of these days I'm going to figure out how 53% of the population is a minority. Must be a bureaucrat thing.

Passing up highly qualified pilots for less qualified ones is no less than criminal insanity.
We already have i***ts in the control towers because of this and it has created a dangerous situation.
The whole thing just gives me the creeps.


We can plan on more crash's that's the devil's way qualification is everything and some training. But just to make it race is Ludacris.
