Because the democrats are actually telling their black people that they are.

And the poor dumb b****s are believing them.

And they're using it as an excuse to remove v**er ID.

I still can't believe how they let Joebammy Biden tell them that if they didn't v**e for him, " You Ain't Black ".

How incredibly stupid does one need be to not see the raw r****m in that statement ?

Wolf, It's all about making it difficult for people of color to v**e. The goal of the Republican Party is not to disenfranchise all minority v**ers, but to minimize their v**e. Many more poor people of color do not own automobiles than their more affluent white neighbors. They have a more difficult time getting to the polls. This is only a small part of the Republican plan. They even passed a law in one state making it a crime to give food or water to people waiting on long lines to v**e. Other outrageous laws and regulations include closing the polls on weekends and after five in the afternoon so that the poor will not have time to go to the polls to v**e because they can't get off from work. There are many, many more laws being passed by Republican state legislatures.
I suggest that all these laws that are meant to discourage minority v****g are unconstitutional. We all should have a day off on e******n day.
Trump and other Republicans claim that the Republican Party would never be able to have another President elected. The way political parties in this country get candidates elected is to enlarge the tent, by appealing to other groups of people or to convince them that it is in their interests to v**e in a candidate of their party, not to exclude some Americans from v****g!!!

I believe e******n day should be a holiday in states where that day is the only day to v**e. With many states allowing dozens of days for early v****g and liberal use of mail in v****g months prior to the actual e******n day, there is no need to select one of many available days as a holiday. I would like to add that some of your information is inaccurate. For example, there are no states whose polls close at 5pm; the earliest that polls close in US states is 6pm and the majority of states keep their polls open until 8pm or later. Also, from your post: "Many more poor people of color do not own automobiles than their more affluent white neighbors." That is not in dispute and certainly does not indicate bias against black v**ers. What would indicate bias would be if many fewer black people of color owned automobiles than equally poor white people, but that is not the case.
I am 71 years old and for about 60 of those years people of all races, unless on military duty or a scheduled absence from their v****g location had only one opportunity to v**e, e******n day. Now, with hundreds of days available to v**e, v****g is hundreds of times easier than it was 40 years ago. It is absurd to conclude that laws
constitute an impediment to v****g when those laws make it only 198 times easier to v**e than 200 times easier to v**e than it used to be (for everyone, not just people of color).
