ISIS are religious fanatics who believe God wants people to be murdered if they have the "wrong" faith or political ideology.

Does anyone think these extremists give a damn about what anyone (not of their group) thinks about them?

The only reason we think about them at all is that they operate in the area that provides us our oil addiction "fix".

When the only oil export from the Persian Gulf was olive oil we could have cared less what these people did to each other.

Wise people know there is only one thing to do about that part of the world.....stay the hell out....and support alternative energy development.

Americans should have learned something from our tragic futile involvements in the middle east.

To me the middle east, will never settle their problems due in part to people not willing to live up to any agreements they make. Let them settle their own conflicts.

The thing is, we don't NEED their oil. We have enough of our own, for the foreseeable future. We are allowing a few rich people to dictate to the entire country, where we'll go and what we'll do when there. If we would STOP exporting oil products to China, no one could rationalize IMPORTING oil. Rich people are neither liberal nor conservative, their philosophy is dollar based. If it makes money, they'll do it and they'll manipulate the Gov. to get it done. No matter the cost in lives - because they don't have to pay for them.
