Too many things that are wrong are being ignored with extreme ignorance...or, through conspiratorial design. In my country, Monsanto could not have won this case; or for that matter, corrupted our congress, purchased the FDA and get to use the world population in a big experiment involved with eating poison to see if it will...uh...poison us. It makes little sense, unless one cautiously assumes that a group of billionaires is plotting to depopulate the planet (as is one of there insights: the world works much better with only 500 million people) and save our depopulated world for themselves and a half a billion GMO serfs. Now, I wish something made more sense than that. But then, Monsanto would not have won this case. If you want to protect your patent, then don't dump it in the public market.
