Good to know it's still voluntary there...I hope it stays that way here! I do agree about regulations between countries. They are all different, some much more lax than others.
The "regulations" here are very strange. They are aiming to have v*****e passports for everyone except, apparently, i*****l a***ns who are streaming over the border, which doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon. Makes me wonder what the driver is for that.

EmilyD, why do you think you shouldn’t be shunned? If I have been v******ted and meet up with someone else who has been v******ted, there is very little likelihood that I will contract the v***s from them. But if I meet up with someone who hasn’t been v******ted there is a 5% chance I could contact it, if that person has the v***s. Most people who took the v*****e just don’t want to take that chance. It is literally a life or death decision. Keep in mind you won’t be all by yourself. As reported on the PBS news hour, the latest poll had 42% of all Republicans and 80+ % of Republican white males saying that they will refuse to take the v*****e.
Regarding the lifetime health issues, problems etc., I have not heard of any from any of the v*****es being used in the United States. On the other hand, people who have gotten the v***s and survived, definitely have the possibility of long term problems. I’m not sure of the percentage, but I have seen a number of people on TV that were young athletes and middle aged marathon runners that now have trouble walking to their mailbox and are constantly tired and exhausted from doing nothing. So given those two scenarios, you probably should get the v*****e. The good news is, it’s still your choice in America. If you lived in China, it’s the government’s choice. It’s also your choice to wear a mask and social distance, so hopefully you will at least do yourself that favor.

Having a Vax JAB does not constitute "HEALTH". I have not had an Influenza injection since 1990 AND HAVE NOT HAD THE FLU/SAR 1.0/SAR2.0/C-19! what do i need a JAP for? of to participate in a global third level pharmacy validation test against MY PERMISSION?

The point is, the efficacy rate in both the P****r and Madera v*****es are around 95%, which means it lowers your chance of contracting the v***s considerably, but nothing can completely keep you from getting the v***s. Think of it like using seat belts. Can they keep you from getting k**led in every car crash? No, but do statistics show that using them lessons your chance of being k**led or having a traumatic head injury? Absolutely! So the point of the card and continuing to wear a mask shows that you have taken every step possible to protect yourself and others who come in contact with you. This should not be that difficult to comprehend. It should not be a political issue about “it’s my right to blah blah blah “. It’s a common sense issue. Do you wear a life jacket when out on a boat in the ocean or when white water rafting? I would hope so, but why? It’s not 100% guarantee that it will save your life, but it sure as heck improves your chances. Are you seeing a pattern here. Just because something isn’t 100%, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use it. Enough said. Either you understand it or you don’t.
