Polio was more insidious and cost more in health bills and with long term health issues than this mostly mild flu. You can still see the effects of polio in some of the older generation with chronic muscle wasting and neuro- muscular complications. Polio v******tions were probably a good idea back then but the death rate of C***d is so low that it's not worth taking this v*****e that has not been greatly tested.
