er: not quite. Medicare Part A kicks in at 65 IF YOU SIGN UP FOR IT THREE MONTHS IN ADVANCE; Part B you pay for. Plan G is Medigap via AARP (and you pay for it). Medicaid is means-tested and doesn't cover everything (which is why you also need the Medigap if you can scrape the money together).
