Sorry to burst your balloon but the course we are on will not be altered with different people running the Government.

The best any of us can do is to adjust our life style to live with what is going to happen.

It is time to realize that our real power stems from how we spend our money.

The course that we are on with wealth ending up in fewer pockets is only going to get worse. There may not be much we can do.

Selling our souls working for those that would not treat us with the personal respect & financial reward we deserve should be reduced.

Yes we can change many of the little things that need to be changed to make the day to day life better.

Most of us are in this mess together.

We need to look closer at our self & make our interactions with people in our day to day life's be more understanding of each other.

We need to judge each other by how we are just as a person not, on the possessions we have.

I agree that " different people running the government " is not the answer to the sad state of our nation.

I have lost all confidence in politicians and the government.

I feel only disappointment and I place no trust in any man or woman who is currently in office or is seeking to be elected.

Each day brings new disappointment and there is absolutely no reason to believe that anyone involved in government will be of any significant help.

Your statement on how " our real power stems from how we spend our money " is a profound t***h that Americans just don't seem to fathom.

So just as I place no faith in government I also have very little confidence in the American people.

All I have left is faith in the beliefs that I hold onto.

I appreciate your post because it is t***hful. And anyone willing to speak t***h is someone I am willing to listen to.

I agree! Many are fed up with politics as usual; most have an agenda and are probably seeking power and prestige and certainly lots of money. So what do we do to change the course that America is on? It may be impossible but I still believe in Americans and our desire to better ourselves and our future. I will continue to bring up the name of Dr. Ben Carson. When I do, some haven't heard of him. If one watches the main stream media like ABC, NBC etc. they'll probably never see him or hear of him. His life story "Gifted Hands" is a movie on Hallmark played by Cuba Gooding Jr. His last two books "America the Beautiful" and "One Nation" are must reads. He's considering running for pres in '16 if America wants him. John Phillip Sousa IV is initiating a campaign run and already has 7000 volunteers nation wide and has raised $3 million already. Carson's is non- political, anti- political correctness, principled, and certainly has leadership qualities. He can certainly debate any Dem or RINO if given the chance. Check him out! You'll be impressed!
