Bill Barr drops the hammer on Democrats in House testimony

U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr let the Democrats have it for their dishonest attempts to discredit him in his opening remarks for the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Barr also took Democrats to task for their role in encouraging the civil unrest of the last few months.
Barr calls out the Democrats

In a statement prepared ahead of the testimony that was obtained by PBS, Barr wrote, “Ever since I made it clear that I was going to do everything I could to get to the bottom of the grave abuses involved in the bogus ‘Russiagate’ scandal, many of the Democrats on this Committee have attempted to discredit me by conjuring up a narrative that I am simply the President’s factotum who disposes of criminal cases according to his instructions.”

The attorney general went on to focus on the ongoing r**ts and violence surrounding the G****e F***d protests.

Barr pointed out that the tragic death of G****e F***d was not the result of “deep-seated r****m,” but was “a complex mix of factors.”

Pretending otherwise has led to a dangerous rush to demonize police officers around the nation.

“In the wake of G****e F***d’s death, violent r****rs and anarchists have hijacked legitimate protests to wreak senseless havoc and destruction on innocent victims,” Barr’s statement continued. “The current situation in Portland is a telling example. Every night for the past two months, a mob of hundreds of r****rs has laid siege to the federal courthouse and other nearby federal property.”

Portland, in particular, has seen violence and r**ts nightly for weeks. Six federal agents were injured during r**ts on Friday night while protecting the federal courthouse. The out of control chaos has forced President Trump to dispatch more federal agents to Portland, according to reports.
Nadler calls r**ts a “myth”

On Sunday, Representative Jerry Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, claimed that r**ts and the violence that have injured dozens is “a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, DC.”

However, just this weekend, A****a has attacked federal agents with Molotov cocktails and agents uncovered a cache of incendiary devices. They even discovered fully loaded magazines, though no weapons were recovered, according to reporter Andy Ngo. The Department of Homeland Security has also been keeping track of the nightly assaults with detailed reports.

While federal agents are struggling to keep anarchists from burning down a federal courthouse in an American city, Democrats in Washington D.C. are claiming it’s “peaceful.” Barr isn’t letting that stand.

“The most basic responsibility of government is to ensure the rule of law, so that people can live their lives safely and without fear. The Justice Department will continue working to meet that solemn responsibility,” Barr concluded in his opening statement.
