Can You Take ... One More Dr. Seuss Poem???

Here is my take ..... a little late, but still relevant ...


The People of OurLand were happy and free
‘til the Theys decided to take over, you see.
They (with a capital “T” and They travel in pairs)
are greedy and selfish! The Theys just don’t care!!

They planned and they schemed for years, it seems,
to take from The People of OurLand their dreams!
They had the Dimwitted Dolt “fraudulently seated.”
(That’s what it’s called when he’s there cuz They c***ted.)

But the Dimwitted Dolt’s not in charge, that’s certain.
It is They who are ruling from behind the thick curtain!
The Dolt has a pen and he signs what They ask.
When The People complain, They take them to task!


They k**led thousands of jobs and stopped building The Wall!
Then They fenced themselves in for no reason at all!
They hide from The People and take all their money
to keep for themselves and think it’s all funny!!

And it’s really quite clear that the Giants of Tech
are in on the scheme to help stack the deck!
They censure anyone who dares raise a fuss,
and now They have cancelled Dr. Seuss!

They have gone too far with this nonsense, though,
and The People of OurLand are outraged, it’s so!
Cuz the Cat in the Hat we’re not worried about,
but the Souse in the House should be ousted, no doubt!!

And Chuckie the Chump, who does just what he’s told,
is no more in charge than the Dimwitted Dolt!
They plan to keep taking ‘til everything’s gone
from The People of OurLand, and They will rule on!!


So The People of OurLand must stay the right course.
As the Lorax said (and I quote from the source)
“UNLESS … someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing is going to get better, it’s not!”
