MEDIA CENSOR SOROS CONNECTION TO PERRY INDICTMENT
On January 27, 1998, then First Lady Hillary Clinton – without a shred of credible evidence – infamously claimed during an NBC Today interview with Matt Lauer that a “vast right-wing conspiracy” had been working to destroy her husband “since the day he announced for president.”

Sixteen years later we have tangible, documented proof that a vast left-wing conspiracy is in fact out to destroy conservative p**********l hopeful Gov. Rick Perry, and the liberals who run the establishment media are doing everything possible to cover it up.
The alleged wrongdoing by Gov. Perry is a farce and the indictment a brazen political abuse, denounced by conservatives and liberals, Republicans and Democrats alike. Who is behind this outrage?

According to a Media Research Center analysis, from the moment Perry was indicted on two flimsy counts by a Travis County, Texas grand jury on August 15 through the morning of August 20, the Big Three broadcast networks – ABC, CBS, and NBC – have run 24 stories totaling 38 minutes and 34 seconds across their morning and evening broadcasts. In all that coverage, not one single story mentioned that the group responsible for filing the complaint against Perry in June, Texans for Public Justice (TPJ), is part of a “progressive” coalition that has received $500,000 in funding from prolific left-wing billionaire George Soros.

Imagine for a moment that Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley – another presumed p**********l hopeful, but a Democrat – was indicted in similarly obvious political ploy, and the group responsible for that indictment had received a half million dollars from those awful Koch brothers. Every single story on ABC, CBS, and NBC would make that connection while the liberal media machine would rain fire and brimstone across the land, claiming an all-out assault by the “extreme Right” on the sanctity of our e*******l system. Forests would be slashed to the ground to print the endless string of liberal columns denouncing the evils of conservative money in politics.

I wasn’t in the least bit surprised to learn the Soros machine’s fingerprints were all over this brazen, partisan ploy. It’s what they do. It’s a clear effort to undermine and circumvent the political process and yet the media refuse to divulge his role. Not one reporter, on any program, could find the time to report this as part of the Perry story – never mind this being its own story? This is deliberate censorship.

Any mention of Soros-funded TPJ is almost as difficult to find. Of the Big Three, only ABC named the organization during Monday’s World News broadcast and made no mention of the Soros connection. Switch to cable, and TPJ remains almost entirely anonymous with the exception of the inevitable positive shout-out from MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow lauding the group for spurring the bogus two-count indictment.

CNN mentioned the group a handful of times, but never made the Soros connection. On Saturday’s New Day, correspondent Peter Hamby referred to TPJ only as “a left-leaning watchdog group.” The next morning Mary Maloney, on the same program, reported the story saying, “The corruption charges stem from a complaint filed by Texans for Public Justice, a public interest group." Later that morning on State of the Union, an infographic stated, “"Texans for Public Justice identifies itself as a non-partisan watchdog group." A second box a moment later clarified, "Some consider Texans for Public Justice to be a left-leaning group." At no point was TPJ’s benefactor mentioned.

The media’s double standard in covering a story such as this misleads and misinforms the very public it claims to serve. In this case, the media have gone beyond mere bias and are complicit in the Soros machine’s scheme to take down a conservative leader.

I sincerely hope Gov. Perry uses this at the Grand Jury "Trial". The democrats are trying to take over the state of Texas, and I hope THIS ploy backfires on all of them! We need Trey Gowdy as Attorney General! The democrats are shameful, and the Republicans are almost as bad for letting them get away with their corruption!

What democrats? They're all "liberals",and these imposters are all refugees frm the c****e party, banned for high treason. Everybody should know this by now. They are, in reality, c****ecrats. They will not rest until they bring about the Soviet Union of the United States. But first they must destroy those who stand in their way. When are the American people going to realize that these criminals are treasonous and should be dealt with accordingly? And to think that I fought in the Battle of the Bulge as a volunteer (I had been in the US two years only) and that my four months of combat 24/7 with the 94th Infantry Division to preserve our way of life, were obviusly for naught, as we are now allowing the Quislings of America, the Fifth Column, the enemy within, the mentally derranged to do us all in.
Cry the beloved country.

There is a old saying when it comes to catching crooks. "Follow the money."

So let us take a look at those poor Democrats and how liberal they are with their hard earned gains.

August 22, 2014 Super PACs spent July beefing up for the fall campaign. Many groups filed new disclosure reports this week, leaving a paper trail littered with big checks from big names.

Democrats dominate the list of notable July donors, as there have simply been more Democratic dollars flowing to that type of outside group this year. There's still plenty of conservative money out there; it's just that more of it is going toward nonprofits, which don't have to disclose their donors. Here are a handful of July super PAC donations that stood out.

STEYER: C*****e-c****e activist Tom Steyer gave the biggest super PAC donation in this month's reports: $7.5 million to his own group, NextGen Climate. Steyer, who made his fortune as a successful hedge-fund manager, also spread some of that money around. NextGen gave a half-million dollars to Senate Majority PAC, the biggest Senate Democratic super PAC, and $150,000 to the League of Conservation V**ers Victory Fund, another environmental group.

BLOOMBERG: Michael Bloomberg is staying plenty active in his post-mayoral days. Aside from funding his gun-control-focused super PAC, Bloomberg has written checks to Senate Majority PAC and super PACs that backed GOP Sens. Thad Cochran and Lindsey Graham during their primary battles. Most recently, the former New York City mayor donated $2 million to Women V**e!—the largest contribution the EMILY's List super PAC has ever received. Only Steyer has given more money to super PACs this e******n season.

SOROS: Democratic financier George Soros's checkbook has been active this summer: The prolific donor gave $500,000 apiece to House Majority PAC and the League of Conservation V**ers Victory Fund. But that million dollars wasn't his family's only big outlay so far this summer. Soros's daughter, Andrea Soros Colombel, gave $250,000 to Planned Parenthood V**es.

SINGER: Hedge-fund manager Paul Singer is the top super PAC donor on the Republican side so far this e******n cycle, and he kept the money flowing last month. The Elliott Management founder dished out $750,000 to the conservative super PAC Ending Spending Action Fund, which has spent a total of nearly $4.5 million in five different races in 2014. Singer also gave $100,000 to the GOP's best-known spending juggernaut, American Crossroads. Singer has now contributed a total of $1.4 million to Ending Spending and $1.35 million to Crossroads this cycle.

MOSTYN: Amber Mostyn is half of Texas's biggest Democratic power couple. The Houston lawyer and her husband Steve were among Democrats' biggest super PAC donors in 2012, when the The New York Times Magazine used the story of the Mostyns' $1 million gift to Priorities USA Action to explain the role and rise of the pro-Obama super PAC. In July, Amber Mostyn gave $250,000 to the Planned Parenthood super PAC, matching the quarter-million she gave the committee in 2013.

BERGMAN: After giving $1 million to American Crossroads in 2012, Jay Bergman, the owner of Illinois-based Petco Petroleum, remained relatively quiet on the outside-money front. But In July, he ponied up to Crossroads again, cutting a $500,000 check to the super PAC. Bergman gives mostly to Republicans. But he casts himself as an "independent," and he's contributed to Illinois Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn and his predecessor, Rod Blagojevich, in the past.

SABAN: Billionaire Univision owner Haim Saban has already pledged his "full might" to Hillary Clinton if she runs for president in 2016, but he's keeping busy in the meantime. Saban gave $250,000 to Senate Majority PAC in July.

SCHMIDT: Another $250,000 donation came to Senate Majority PAC via Google Chairman Eric Schmidt. Unlike most of the donors on this list, Schmidt eschewed super PACs in 2012, but this is his second major contribution of 2014. Back in June, Schmidt gave $100,000 to the super PAC formed to support Democratic Sen. Mark Warner's ree******n in Virginia this year.

ANGELOS: Other Democratic donors may have given more money than the $100,000 Senate Majority PAC got from the Law Offices of Peter Angelos. But few other donors have jobs as cool. When he's not financing Democratic super PACs, Angelos can be found bankrolling free agent signings as the owner of the Baltimore Orioles.

OTHER PACS: Some of the biggest donations made in July went from one PAC to another. In addition to the donations Steyer's group made, Senate Majority PAC also contributed $350,000 to the League of Conservation V**ers super PAC last month. And two of the biggest donations to House Majority PAC came from the Blue Dog PAC and the New Democrat Coalition PAC, two groups representing moderate or conservative House Democrats. They combined to give $350,000 to House Majority PAC

Then there is the unending use of tax dollars to support Obama flying all over the country to raise even more funds which he can hide.

I posted this piece as a sort of tongue-in-cheek swipe at other threads that imply that political corruption is the sole venue of the Koch Bros. and conservatives. Or that conservative corruption is clandestine while l*****t corruption is right out in the open...or, I don't know what. An amazingly flaccid concept wh**ever the intent.

As you have done here, we can find hundreds of examples of major money, light, dark or otherwise flowing to both Democrats and Republicans through channels we couldn't imagine. And therein resides the rub;

Our government is not of, by and for the people. It's a commodity, for sale to the highest bidder. After all, as any good capitalist knows, you have to spend money to make money...

Political contributions, particularly campaign contributions should be punishable by confiscation of the money and imprisonment.

There are a few upstanding politicians who agree with this in principle. How to get them elected is the next rub...
