What wonderful conformity within the populace we get when there is a legal fine suppressing our individual freedoms not to harm ourselves or others. Speed limits, seat belts, wearing clothes or a helmet, and far too many to list that intrude on doing what we damn well please. But the threat to the public of illness and death is not a deterrent? That is extremely bizarre, tragic. And then people will fight and even k**l for the right not to wear an extremely lightweight mask occasionally at nil, nothing zip, nada cost to their movements in order to protect their community, family and selves. How does a mask infringe on personal freedom? It doesn't! The protest against wearing a mask is cowardly and obscene. But it's your choice.

Logic doesn't work on these folks. I suggest to them that if they become ill, they demand that their healthcare providers refuse to wear masks, wash their hands, sterilize their equipment and so forth. I mean, it's only fair that they not insist on the caregivers surrendering THEIR liberties, yeah?
