The original poster was reciting in modern speech the words that were written in ages past. Any study of history will show that power held by the wicked is short lived, where the power held by the wise is long and rewarding. That simple observation proves the original poster correct. Therefore, in the end Good will Triumph over Evil. However, it is not the end yet, so we must beware that the t***h will stand true.

But that is just a small portion of it. Fact is certain, and I ask all those who oppose this thread, would you rather walk in life, safe from harm, or walk in life worried that you shall die? For those who walk in life through a balance of both, live a wise and long fruitful life, but those on one extreme or the other suffer the pains of life. Do you want to suffer while we approach the victory of the Good or would you rather walk, with your head held high, tall and proud, without experiencing the pain of death? The choice is yours. But I for one would like to take the express route to heaven, rather than walking through the fire, where I may be burned and suffer great pain.

Those who live in fidelity, like the original poster, will walk through the fire unharmed. Those who are wild and cast away fidelity will be burned. It was written before, and will be written again, and history has many examples of this. Therefore it is all based upon your choice. And that choice is up to you. But you will not know the day, time, or hour you will have to make that choice. So wouldn't it be logical to start living a life of fidelity to save your own life?
