Red, in the end it all goes to the same people . What they’re fighting over is who those people are. I do not mean the ones cashing the checks.
Who will be given enormous sums of money after the checks are handed out.
We, as a debtors republic owe an average credit card bill of $29,000.
So, the giant sum of $1.9 trillion is actually superfluous.
If you live in this country you owe somebody money. So, the checks are handed out and credit card companies see a major uptick.
Yippee! But what have we accomplished?
No harassing credit card calls for a while ?
If we pay down debt it does nothing for the economy but make more billionaires .
Nobody bought anything. and we’re still broke. No jobs. C***d still around.
So, thus rescue / survival money is only good till next month when it’s gone, again. Still owe and still can’t pay.
So, as I see it, the argument isnt about us, we no longer contribute to the economy , we are embedded into the economy for someone else’s benefit. The economy will boom or bust depending on how much we can spend. Aliens getting checks? I don’t see how it matters except as faux Nouse talking points to inflame the believers.
it’s about who the secondary payees will be. Doctors, healthcare. Zero sum.
Still no products to sell.
Still no economy.
Where is the largest portion of the survival cash going ?

Oh come now, the first thing Trump did was to cut taxes and increase spending. We supposedly had a roaring economy and were turning a trillion-dollar deficit per year. You cons never care about the deficit unless it occurs under Democrat and then you cry and insist bankruptcy is only a day away. Here is the only way we go bankrupt...stop buying bonds...and so far US savings bonds are the hottest thing for the rest of the world to put their money in.
