The price Of gas only matters to poor people .we could be energy independent on any day you want to. But, how could the petrol companies make exorbitant profits selling only locally ? Without their little bullchit stories about why the price of gas changes ? On any given day the price of gas can be manipulated to fleece the buyers.
In a free market a glut of oil in the market should cause the price to plummet.
We hav a glut of oil and the barrel prices are low. So why is the price going up ?
That is not how free markets operate.
Venezuela has the 2nd largest oil fields on the planet .
But they aren’t allowed to sell it because they refused to join OPEC.
So, all the lies about c****e Venezuela are false. They wanted to maintain independence.
