Women on the battlefield is the greatest concession to the enemy that can be made. That is not because of women's abilities but because of what it does to the men on the battlefield. Several years ago, I read an Israeli study that said women should not be present on a battlefield because men are inclined to take too many pointless risks to come to a woman's aid when she is in serious trouble. It happened with enough regularity that it c*********d the effectiveness of the fighting unit.

Israeli women no longer serve in those kinds of combat positions although the do serve in 'combat' support positions.

We don't live in 60's anymore! We dont need to be home barefooted and pregnant...We can do pretty much what you men can do,maybe even better....So if you want a woman. to be barefoot and pregnant,you better go back in time to 1960's and find yourself a wifey who will clean your butt for you!! Women of 2020's are not into this kind of schtick!

Can you hump a 50 pound rucksack cross country over rough country in pouring rain for nearly 18 miles? Every man in my Basic Training Company could do this. Not a single one of the women was able to complete the march even though they didn't even have to carry the rucksacks. This is after 6 or 7 weeks of 6 day a week PT.
Infantry does this sort of thing. A chain is as strong as it's weakest link. Women can and do perform many of the same tasks as men. Those requiring strength and endurance are not among them.
A couple of women managed to finish Ranger training. When a man screws up he is allowed one do-over to get it right. The women were allowed numerous tries until they got it right. So much for e******y.

When I was in the Army, women had a different set of physical fitness requirements, because only a tiny percentage of them could meet the ones required of men.
I think this is the first time we have disagreed on a topic; but I have been there and done that. Women simply don't belong in combat units, particularly Infantry.

The good Lord doesn't make mistakes, he made men and women different for a reason. Men haven't forgotten their role, it just appears the opposite sex wants ours. Look what's happened since they have gotten into power roles since the 60's, and here we are with grandma Pelosi in charge. Really taking us in the right direction now.
