On the farm, way back, we sold whole milk . And this was without refrigeration. On occasion, some milk soured so my aunt made cottage cheese. She would put the milk in a pot near the back of the wood fired kitchen stove. It was my job using a slotted spoon to fish out the curds of the soured milk. To this day, I have not deliberately eaten cottage cheese.
I know it is often used in lasagna but is disguised so I ignore the fact it is there.

My wife pulled that on me once with lasagne, and I was forced to take drastic action to insure that it never happened again.

Where's she buried? Personally I really like cottage cheese with finely diced onions and a touch of Italian dressing. Mike
