It seems that we may have an offshoot of or split within the GOP coming: the Trump Party

I would venture that how the former president addresses CPAC will be the determining factor. That I will not be joining should be without saying but what about you: Yea or nay and why? What will it mean for the country?

=============
You act like a prophet. Your word must be "WISH" .
There may be few like Romney, who is so jealous of Trump. But majority at least 93% of the GOP's are for Trump. These are the 75 million, plus the 10 million or more not recorded. We will prevail.

Typical l*****t reaction. If you know that what is going to be said disagrees with your narrative, then put your head into the sand and pretend it didn't happen. However, I was mostly referring to your stance on not wanting to have anything to do with listening to his talk.

What? I don't have a narrative, I had a simple question: yea or nay on the Trump Party? Have no clue as to your response to my thread.

Nah...that's a diversion. We're going to clean out the serpents.

Not worried about those not attending CPAC.

Personally, I think another party would be a mistake, but if Trump decides to do that, I'll be all in for him. It ain't going well the way it is. The Repubs are not much better than the Dems.

Trump already has a party. It's called the republican party. If the professional politicians don't catch up they will be the ones to start their own party because they have lost the support of most republicans. Something like the Lincoln Project might work for them. We see how well that works out.

Thank you for your opinion, exactly what I hoped this thread would invoke.

We started realizing that when the Tea Party started. More of us realize it now than then.

RINOs, naturally, looking for a parade to jump in front of polluted it, like they pollute everything but the idea didn't die.

The sad thing is there's no corresponding realization from our Democrat friends who still act like they believe everything the party says...along with their BIGGEST campaign contributors, the media.

If President Trump stands on the policies he formed and/or enforced during his term, and maybe throws in an attempt at term-limits, I'm in. Forty-eight years a republican, and I have NO enthusiasm for their lack of fight, their willingness to "go along to get along", and just plain wimpiness.
If Trump can form a media conglomerate to counter googly and the others ; to put the OTHER side of the story out there, enough people may just get on board to start a new party. The GOP has reached their "sell by" date, like joey and Merrick.
God Bless the former America...

Good points, thank you. We actually have had a debate.

They’ve lost their support because the tea baggers kicked them out.
No mystery there.
A few more on the way too.
