FEMA under Democratic control is completely different than handing Texas huge piles of cash with B's in front and letting them decide how best to use it and disburse it to friends in construction trades.
Texas lawmakers are already looking to federal relief to go right to power companies to help their customers that are being hit with bills in the tens of thousands, ands we will see worse. The federal government will step in to help people, but the help getting to people who's credit and debit cards are being hit will end up in nightmare litigation to get the money replaced from the power companies that Texas government would give them if they do things their incompetent ways.
Texas is allergic to federal oversight, but that is what they are going to get a huge dose of, it should be fun to see the t***sparency on their corrupt as hell ERCOT system that they have kept in the dark. My guess is that when the details of how this system works start seeing the light Texans are going to be some very unhappy campers.
