You better start listening to someone besides Tucker Carlson

You people need to be smarter than this, you fall into every bit of crap FOX throws at anything. They are running a shade operation for the republican government that created this mess. El Paso had power, you can't figure out that it's because they are not on the Texas ERCOT power grid, that there is something deeply substandard going on there when it comes to winter storms? I keep expecting the right to be smart enough to catch truly i***tic lies that the t***h is right there to see.

Biden is there for Texas to a far higher degree than Abbot or Texas senators like Cruz have been. Abbot had not talked to any large city mayors to find out what the state could do to help, or coordinate federal assistance.

Abbot asked for disaster relief and got it within a day, generators were sent to a staging area in Texas, and there they sat. Texas did nothing to figure out where they could be sent. Abbot now declared emergency status on all counties with no distinction between hardest hit counties and ones that weren't. FEMA assessed that for Abbot and defined a little under a hundred of the worst.

This is a directly Texas created problem, unlike fires that trump said were California's fault because they hadn't raked the leaves. California held PG&E responsible to the tune of billions in settlements, when is Abbot going to go there on ERCOT? Is it the federal government's problem when it is directly related to both ERCOT and the Texas government failing to force ERCOT to make the changes required after the same kind of outages ten years ago.

These fights between the GOP defending and attacking on unrelated factors starts to get like r****ds in fourth grade. And people that don't have enough common sense to see what the problem is is why they have the government like Texas that they do. Texas has a system that favors businesses, not people, and people are now paying the price. Power bills as high as $10,000 or more are being predicted. Is that the federal government's job to have to help people with their power bills, or is it the place of Texas to have to protect their people from a predatory power bill?

Where is the Texas "we don't need no federal help" attitude? If you need federal help you get federal oversight along with it, if you don't want the oversight fix it yourself.

Biden has sent aid to Texas, said he would visit but ...........didn't want to be a burden. Know what that means? Unlike trump who truly didn't give a s**t, biden does NOT want to take law enforcement away from their operations aiding Texans to provide security for him, does NOT want to take local and State officials away from their efforts to aid their people to attend him and does NOT want to disrupt humanitarian efforts with a gaggle of reporters and other none contributory people.
