U.S. President Joe Biden speaks while addressing the virtual Munich Security Conference in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. Biden re-introduced himself and the U.S. to world leaders at a pair of international conferences today, calling on industrialized democracies to partner in confronting the p******c and c*****e c****e in a sharp departure from his predecessor's foreign policy.

President Biden told leaders at the G-7 summit on Friday, the same day the U.S. reentered the Paris Agreement, that the days of “America First” diplomacy championed by former President Trump were over, according to The New York Times.

As the New York Post, which cited Biden’s intent to declare on Friday that the “America First” era was over, noted, “Biden has swiftly dismantled Trump’s foreign policy agenda, which saw the U.S. withdraw from the World Health Organization, the Paris Agreement and the Iran nuclear deal, which Trump believed were against the nation’s interests.”

Does anybody think China’s “China First” policy would benefit the world? Ocean grabbing, Debt Trap loans to small countries, threats to neighboring Democratic countries...
Trumps Nationalist bunker mentality would shrink US influence back to our shores and make us dumb spectators as the evil empires of Russia and China gleefully trample borders and bring about the totalitarian rule their illegitimate leaders dream of.
America needs to re-engage with our allies, and forge new partnerships with developing countries to deal with the pressing problems of authoritarianism, c*****e c****e, environmental degradation and social ine******y.

Imagine if a nuclear exchange broke out between India and China. Even if the conflict could be contained, large parts of the world would be uninhabitable. And that would be if we were very very lucky. Without a strong globally engaged America, such a scenario looks more likely than less likely.
