This morning we're at 21° and we expect to go down to 3° tonight.
We are definitely playing catch up to all you blessed snowbirds.
But 1 inch of snow in my neck of Texas is enough to make a fellow convert his four wheeler into a snowmobile.

We needed this one. The hard freeze will k**l some bugs, and stuff. Maybe the grasshoppers won't eat Mrs. Bunker's flowers this spring next week right before Winter again, and then Summer right before Spring sets in after another bout of Winter.
We have a lot of that c*****e c****e stuff here because we drive pick-ups.

Cant beat that arch there are times I really miss the snow especially around Christmas but then I realize if I cant get warm now what would I do if it was really cold I'm sitting here with a heavy sweater on and a really heavy robe on sweat pant and sock with an extra heater on. No one tells you that the golden years means freezing your patooty off even if your sitting in the middle of a fire
you and your wife stay warm arch and enjoy the view from a window

He spends every spare minute of his time harvesting firewood.
I've learned valuable lessons from that guy that have served me well
I've got several cords dried in and another big pile of timber to process.
We're actually happy to see this crazy cold weather.
It reminds us why it is so important to be prepared.
