Newsflash, he was impeached while he was still president, the senate part is the trial part

Another newsflash...impeachments have nothing to do with the rule of law and the innocent until proven guilty thing...the jury doesn't even try to maintain proof beyond reasonable doubt, they decide based on how they feel, which works both ways. Republicans didn't care of trump was guilty, they decided based on not caring. That can work both ways.

Clinton was guilty, but the senate chose not to "convict" him regardless. It does not mean it was proof he was not guilty, we all know he was. The right sees an acquittal and they run around saying see he wasn't guilty.
