First, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and the ginned up outrage at a bridge closing. Then, Democrats went after Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker And now Rick Perry, who ran afoul of the Travis County political machine by threatening to veto an appropriation for the Public Integrity Unit, is the target of a trumped up indictment.

Governor Perry has already been proved innocent of any violation by TV court judges and so far none that I hear on the tv screens are howling "guilty" as charged

I actually think he will come out stronger. Especially, if they can get that video of the prosecutors DUI arrest to go v***l. I thinks the Democrats "stepped in it" with this one.

To paraphrase the old saying, "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned" has never met a drunken liberal woman that thinks she was scorned. You would think that a "Public Integrity Unit" funded by the State of Texas would be under the State Attorney General's office instead of a County District Attorney's office. That way it would serve the citizens of the State instead of the unethical political hacks of a County.

Wow, another unbiased article sticking up for a conservitive criminal in the americanstinker. Get it straight, Perry was indicted by a Grand Jury made up of his fellow Texans, not the Democratic party. Members of this Grand Jury looked at the evidence, believe him guilty of felonys and had him bound over for trial. He is being prosecuted for his crimes not persecuted for his politics.

It's the only way your party can win, lie, c***t and steal.
They did the same thing to Tom DeLay.

A Texas court threw out the money-laundering conviction of former House majority leader Tom DeLay, saying prosecutors failed to prove that he broke the law in a fundraising scandal from the 2002 e******ns.

I have to wonder how you can walk the streets of America knowing what you are trying to do to her.

They figure that the mere accusation is enough for the stupid to figure that these guys are guilty and fail to realize that the sheep are starting to stir and finally realize that the accused are the ones they are most afraid of because they wont go with the program. The NSA is nothing but an elitists tool for coercion and blackmail.

Hes being prosecuted falsely yes but there's no proof of a crime. You would do well to get you a one way ticket to moscow.

The Grand Jury only gets one side of the story, the prosecutor's. Also all Grand Jury proceedings are secret, so who knows if the t***h was ever brought forth. Ergo, the saying a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich using the Grand Jury. A Grand Jury indictment is a far cry from being found guilty by a trial jury.

The people, organization, that brought the charges seem to be a "Watch Dog" organization out of San Antonio, Tx. After looking into their past performances, I found that they go after almost exclusively Republicans that are in office. Case in point, they are now going after Ken Paxton, Tom DeLay, and in the past Abbott, Straus.....just to name a few. Funny, they are all Republicans. How many democrats have been dogged by them, not many to none! I also did a research on Michael McCrum, a democrat, he seems to have a side issue with Rick Perry due to him not being nominated to US Attorney in 2010, and he withdrew his name complaining about Rick Perry. Was he not the nomination by Lloyd Doggett a well known Democrat? And was it Doggett that made news because he was upset that Obama Administration "should be listening to the Democrats of Texas"? Now, is McCrum not the same individual that indicted Perry for abuse of power? And Travis County is notoriously Democratic. Would you say that Perry got unbiased treatment in a dominate Democratic district? Would you still say that he was indicted by his fellow Texans? Hummmm, that is like putting a man on trial, the only suspect, with family members of the victim as judge and jury.

You never cease to amaze me Kevyn. Most people that make a mistake only put one foot in their mouth, but so often you manage to put both feet in at the same time. When are you going to wake up and smell the roses and get the FACTS before you open your big mouth? Perry is being charged with trumped up charges by a drunk official that is doing nothing but causing problems for him in the hopes he will get mugged by them and smear his name just like they did so often in the past to others they didn't like.

You Sir are an i***t and I have told you in the past that you need to get your head out of your butt and see what is going on in the world and not just your stupid progressives world. You really are a pain at times, because you do nothing but try to stir up trouble. You never contribute anything of value, you just throw out your garbage and run.

Perry has done nothing wrong and is not about to fall to some stupid woman that is just trying to get even with him for spite, plus the fact he wants he gone. I can't say as I blame him one bit. If I were in his shoes, I would want her gone too. Not because she is a woman or a progressive, but because she is a drunk in a position of authority that requires someone with a little integrity and lives the kind of life she is telling others to live by. You set by example, not by decree. Any honest politician would be ashamed of themselves for acting like this and getting stopped for DUI, but she couldn't stop there. She tried to use her position to get the cops to leave her alone and when they decided to arrest her, she got abusive. She is nothing but a slime bag and needs to be fired. Gov. Perry ask her to resign, but she was to good to do that, so he took the only action he had left to get rid of her and everything he did was legal and according to the TEXAS STATE CONSTITUTION. He doesn't need your permission to act and he doesn't need your approval, or hers to take action. He has laws and a Constitution to back him up and that is all he needs.

Now go play out in the street for awhile and leave everyone else alone.

JHMO-isn't it ironic that Gov. Perry gets indicted by the democrats for abuse of power but these same democrats are cheering Obama on as he continues to abuse the power of the presidency. Good Luck America !!!
