Some people will buy into anything-TSO is simply too loud. I went to a performance for Christmas several years ago, like back in 2000, and I had seats pretty close to the front, which I needed to exchange for the very back-it was simply an assault on the eardrums. They do have some very good musicians, but TSO as a group is not very good-recordings and albums that sell are not necessarily good music-but most people do not know much about music these days-not in school, and kids are not taking lessons on instruments anymore-at least not instruments you really have to work at. What I consider really awful stuff is what my husband thinks is great. But I spent many years studying enunciation, piano, organ and clarinet-so my taste is most assuredly different from many.

Something you might like. Google T***s Siberian Orchestra and dueling pianos. It's simply incredible. I had no idea someones hands could move that fast. No vocals. Just some incredible piano work.
