I have a friend who is traveling right now from France to Burma (now Myanmar) for a business assignment. Total travel time until he can begin his job, with connections, c***d tests, and quarantines , is 27 days. He describes it as 27 days of pure hell. One example he just gave me is a real doozy. He had to throw out a can of Sardines he had with him because the can listed 13 grams of water in it. Only 12 grams are allowed. But he was comforted by the "thoughtfulness" of one airline that printed a message on the plastic shield which had to be worn over a mask for an entire 9 hour leg, as well as the shorter legs of the trip.
"In an emergency, before trying to put on oxygen mask, first remove shield, then remove your mask, and only then put on your oxygen mask".
Good thing that instruction was there because who would ever know such technical details.
And the insanity goes on.
