Intelligence and security experts are already warning of the need for vetting and purging trump loyalists from the FBI, secret service, and other security entities.
There is an investigation and purge going on right now in the c*****l p****e, the secretary of the army is being asked to look into making sure that trump loyalists are identified and removed from the national guard troops that are being deployed to Washington DC.
Police departments that have seen officers taking sympathetic positions with right wing m*****a groups in areas of A****a and B*M protests are being looked at.
The FBI and counter intelligence groups have been warning of police and military members being over the line in terms of taking sides in civil conflicts. There is nothing wrong with v****g for someone and supporting them from a personal point of view. People in positions of public trust have no business taking active involvements in social strife, there is a line there, and it has to do with following orders even if you don't agree with them.
That conflict of interest would be deadly apparent in scenarios where trump supporters are trying to take over a capital building for the stated purpose of taking the government over, to k**l democrats so that republicans can govern. The unbiased soldier or cop will do the job of defending what they are being paid to defend. Those that would refuse to do so put their fellow police officers in danger, they are t*****rs of a different type, and it is perfectly fair to identify and remove people who take their beliefs too far. Unfortunately this type of partisanship loyalties is present at the very top, and has been outed by those who have made public statements to the effect of who or what they will either support or refuse to support, especially in sheriff's departments.
There will be purges, make no mistake, but it isn't because you v**ed for trump, that's okay, it's when you sympathize and would act with the unhinged right.

Another example is Ginny Thomas and her involvement with hard right groups, she has been a conflict of interest for Clarence Thomas before, and has gone way over the line.
