Unconstitutional: Yes or No!?!

FBI, DOJ & DHS are not in the Constitution and do nothing for the people.

If an agency is not in the constitution it is unconstitutional.

Why hasn't congress removed these agencies?

Sincerely
Joe P.

Good Question That's Why I Posted It... Don D.

Neither are the Dept. of Energy, Education, etc.

Here's one short answer to consider: The political will doesn't exist because we keep sending politicians to DC who want bigger government and feel that to be re-elected (since this is the most important thing in their lives), they have to keep making bigger promises to their constituents. Bringing federal agencies to their district or state means jobs and extra tax money spent in their state. Robert Byrd, King of Pork, was a master at the game and he taught all the current Democrats how to play this game. Would you v**e for someone who doesn't want to expand government, and makes promises to deliver less to your state or district as a means of reining in the administrative state? Many of these government functions can be handled by the state, county, city, or special districts.

There is the Washington D.C. constitution, which is interpreted as a "living document" (meaning it is subject to cultural change according to the perspective of the evolutionist") and then there is the "Constitution for the United States of America" interpreted in its original intent. Read the Act of 1871.

In reading the latter document, the answer is "Yes."
