Nothing more to say here.

Was it the drugs or Common Core

Home school is the only answer.

For some children, this would be a good idea. I h**e to think what kind of education my son would have had it depended on me. No. I do not admit to being stupid, but I have no teaching qualifications; neither did most of the parents of his classmates.

Know what you are saying, I would not be that great a teacher because as a professional pilot I was gone for long periods of time, which my kids would have used as extended vacation days LOL

An involved parent is the most important part of the education equation. I would say the failure of the entire system we experience today is the parents want to dump the kids off at school and expect that some how the gubberment will make them ready for life. The high drop out rate and the level of education when they reach 18 is depressing to those of us who valued education. Even the colleges are guilty and it can all be laid at the feet of the left.

In Vancouver, British Columbia, a new school policy might be considered political correctness on steroids.

The city school district has adopted a new policy that replaces the traditional pronouns he, she, him and her with xe (zee) xem (zem) and xyr (zer).

The Vancouver Board of Education has approved the radical policy aimed at accommodating perceived g****r identity and sexual orientation.

Laurie Higgins, cultural analyst at the Illinois Family Institute, calls the effort "pseudo-compassion" encouraged by the far left.

She says the radical l*****ts wish to "embody their radical l*****t notions about g****r and to compel all of society to accept them."

CNS News wrote about the pronoun changes, and other changes to accomodate t*********r students, in a July story that reported "two-spirit" students are also being included in the new accomodations.

What are "two-spirit" people? "Two spirit is an Aboriginal term which means having both feminine and masculine spirits," the story stated.

Higgins says the t*********red students and their parents believe that everyone else "should pretend their disorder is not a disorder and change their behavior in accordance with l*****t assumptions."

She says g****r-confused students are capable of functioning within traditional school settings but simply don't want to.

The policy has sparked a lot of controversy, especially among parents who accused school authorities of pushing their own social agenda without consulting parents.

The CNS News story also quoted the school board chairman: "I didn’t realize how much opposition there was out there in our communities to keeping kids safe and included and welcome," she said.

In reply to Jetjock's post re the Vancouver school board and teachers.

It seems that the school board, the school administrators, and the teachers must all be on drugs.

Trying to revise the English language instead of teaching it should get them all fired.
