It is unlikely but not impossible that 17 republican senators will v**e to convict trump, what it will achieve is to put all who don’t on the record supporting a terrorist attack on our Capitol. A conviction would save the taxpayers the cost of secret service protection and pension for a t*****r and it would also stop dead Trumps fleecing people and corporations for campaign contributions. There is no downside at all to a conviction.
