Sure, it causes fear and chaos, intimidates leaders...but what is the end result? This crap serves no purpose, it even alienates if not turns conservatives into their enemies.
This has a zero sum end game. Say a government capital is taken over and hostages are taken, to what end, what will they try to get...trump reinstalled as president? That will never happen.
