This Country's Freedom Is Here To Stay While "Real" Freedom Chokes And K**ls Us

The freedoms that the right seems to be most vocal about are the things that are the opposite of freedom...

Freedom does not wear any religious trappings, religion is at the root of every conflict and war in the world. In this country you have the right to believe wh**ever you want, go to wh**ever church you want, freedom stops there. It doesn't give you the right to proselytize as an officer to troops under you, it doesn't give you the right to go to work in a government office and deny a marriage license to a gay couple because it offends your religious beliefs, it does not give you the right to deny the right to v**e because you don't trust their ethnicity...and it sure as hell doesn't give you the right to fire a person because they are gay because it offends your beliefs or you simply do not like gays.

Things that are for the good of society and legal order are allowed, required, and enforced, we pay for insurance so we can drive, we adhere to speed limits, we wear seatbelts because it reduces fatal accidents, we wear helmets, and yes we are forced to do these things. So now the simple act of wearing a mask to help the spreading of c***d is seen as some dastardly infringement on freedom. People are not using their brains to think about how stupid this sounds. So you don't agree with it, the harm to other people if you are wrong is worse than the harm to your supposed freedoms if you are not.

Society is about the things you do for others more than the things you do for yourself. Trump has attracted the people that are about everything that is selfish and inconsiderate of others.

Freedom is absolute less the restrictions society agrees to accept. Behavioral mandates, for wh**ever purpose, that extend the power of the government are, by definition, violations of freedom. Government has no right to arbitrarily change standards and practices; that is defined as tyranny.
