What Happened: A new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine titled “Open Schools, C****-**, and Child and Teacher Morbidity in Sweden” has found that “Despite Sweden’s having kept schools and preschools open, we found a low incidence of severe C****-** among schoolchildren and children of preschool age during the SARS-CoV-2 p******c…No child with C****-** died…Among the 1,951,905 million children who were 1 to 16 years of age, 15 children had C****-**, MIS-C, or both conditions and were admitted to an ICU, which is equal to 1 child in 130,000.”

Apple threatens Parler: Moderate Or You’re Out

Megacompany Apple is threatening to remove social networking service Parler from its App Store unless the company starts moderating its platform more harshly.
Reuters reported that Parler, billed as an alternative to Twitter without the left-wing bias, received the letter from Apple Friday evening following Big Tech’s crackdown on President Donald Trump and his supporters. Buzzfeed published portions of the letter sent by Apple, which demanded Parler update its moderation policies to ban users from planning to storm the U.S. Capitol like what happened on Wednesday.
“We have received numerous complaints regarding objectionable content in your Parler service, accusations that the Parler app was used to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the illegal activities in Washington D.C. on J****** 6, 2021 that led (among other things) to loss of life, numerous injuries, and the destruction of property,” Apple wrote in the letter. “The app also appears to continue to be used to plan and facilitate yet further illegal and dangerous activities.”
Apple then made its threat, “to ensure there is no interruption of the availability of your app on the App Store,” demanding Parler update its app and submit to Apple a “requested moderation improvement plan within 24 hours of the date of the message.”
Parler CEO John Matze called Apple “authoritarian,” saying the company already enforces rules such as those demanded by Apple.
“We will not cave to pressure from anti-competitive actors! We will and always have enforced our rules against violence and illegal activity. But we WONT cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who h**e free speech!” Matze wrote on Parler.
“Anyone who buys an Apple phone is apparently a user. Apperently [sic] they know what is best for you by telling you which apps you may and may not use,” he also said.
Apple added that recent content on Parler has crossed a line and should be moderated.
“Content of this dangerous and harmful nature is not appropriate for the App Store. As you know from prior conversations with App Review, Apple requires apps with user generated content to effectively moderate to ensure objectionable, potentially harmful content is filtered out,” Apple wrote. “Content that threatens the well being of others or is intended to incite violence or other lawless acts has never been acceptable on the App Store.”
To be clear, Apple has not sent similar warnings to Twitter regarding its continued allowance of Chinese C*******t Party propaganda or Ayatollah Khamenei’s repeated calls for the eradication of Israel.

We have received numerous complaints regarding objectionable content in your Parler service, accusations that the Parler app was used to plan, coordinate, and facilitate the illegal activities in Washington D.C. on J****** 6, 2021 that led (among other things) to loss of life, numerous injuries, and the destruction of property. The app also appears to continue to be used to plan and facilitate yet further illegal and dangerous activities.
Our investigation has found that Parler is not effectively moderating and removing content that encourages illegal activity and poses a serious risk to the health and safety of users in direct violation of your own terms of service, found here:

Two US Justice Department officials have gone on record saying President Trump will not be charged with any crimes related to the chaos that descended on the US Capitol Building on J****** 6, 2021.
Frustrated and angry Trump supporters, by some accounts incited by anarchist and L*****t agitators, descended on the US after being betrayed by Vice President Mike Pence who refused to exercise his constitutional right to move a contested e******n in the E*******l College to the US House for a v**e of delegations.
The Capitol Building and several elected official’s offices – including the Office of the Speaker – were accessed and disrupted during the chaos. The House and Senate floors were also accessed by the aggrieved protesters. Reports have surfaced that laptops have gone missing.
Democrats leaders, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), have called for the President’s removal from office with less than two weeks left in his term.

But Democrat’s removal efforts have run into a speedbump with news that the Department of Justice will not pursue charges against the President for any of the activity that happened on Capitol Hill on J****** 6, 2021.
When asked Friday during a conference call with reporters if the DoJ was considering charging any of the speakers at the rally that preceded the destructive chaos at the Capitol Building, a Justice Department official said “We don’t expect any charges of that nature.”
Later, another Justice Department official said the federal investigation is exclusively focused on criminal acts at the Capitol building.
Days earlier, in pr********n for the well-publicized rally – a rally that was predicted to have an attendance in the area of close to a million attendees – Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser reportedly refused an offer of federal assistance for additional security both at the rally and at the Capitol Building where the E*******l College v**e was to be certified during a joint session of Congress.
In hindsight, Bowser’s decision resulted in the deaths of five people. Ashli Babbitt, a rally attendee who was at ground zero at the US Capitol Building, was shot dead by a Capitol Hill police officer during the chaos.
