Why did violence break out? According to the narrative from the right, it's because A****A infiltrated the peaceful march for Trump and stormed the Capitol causing murder and mayhem and blaming it all on the peaceful protestors on the right. Is that not what happened?

Violence broke out because people are pissed. I think everyone underestimated the amount of anger that exists. The authorities probably assumed that Trump supporters wouldn't do anything stupid. In the past, they have been generally well behaved, monitored themselves and others around them who may have wanted to incite violence, and even cleaned up the area where they had their rallies. There are videos of a few people at the Capitol trying to break windows who were stopped by Trump's supporters.

Yes, there are some right-wingers who wanted to do more than peacefully protest. They came prepared with ropes, hammers, and other implements that 99.9% of the amassed crowd did not carry with them. They represent a very small minority of Trump supporters. You cannot use such a broad brush to paint all Trump supporters as right-wing. Most Conservatives are not right-wing, despite what the media tries to tell you.

I have seen videos where the police actually opened the doors and allowed demonstrators to enter the Capitol. most were well-behaved, came in, and then left when asked to leave. It was a very small segment that tried to go further by breaking into the House Chamber and the Speaker's Lobby where Ashli Babbitt was shot.

We are still getting the facts as they emerge. Don't rush to judgment, whether you be right-leaning, left-leaning, or middle-of-the-road. Everyone wants to play the blame game. That gets us nowhere. For every theory, there is another theory from the opposite side. Take the following article for example.
