Go back in time. How was your state of mind in 2015 and 2016? How did you feel? What were you thinking? Trump announced and at some time you decided he was the best choice.

Why did you do that? What Spirit led you to do that?

If the spirit you listen to now isn't the first Spirit (the difference will be obvious. ) maybe you've done an about face w/o realizing. Just a thought from a guy with a little serenity to share.

People were waiting to find one mis-step by our virtually infallible president. He simply urged the peaceful protest to go to the steps of the capitol building and stage their protest. He did not direct them to storm the capitol building. This is a expanded narrative that the left are using to destroy the man’s great legacy. I still stand with the president and know he wanted the American people to have the same opportunities he enjoyed growing up.

He and I are a year apart in age. My family, my three brothers and I, grew up in a housing project. I remember milk being delivered from the back of a horse cart, having a pot belly coal stove to heat the 800 SF temporary housing we lived in. The most important thing in those days were the simplicity of life, the freedoms we enjoyed, freedom to worship, good schools, good friends, great opportunities.

Today there is so much h**e and negativity. I seek to surround myself with family, good friends and fun people to be around. They are the lights in my world and God is at the center of it all. God bless the good people on this board who cherish the goodness our country has to offer!

I pray for the h**ers, the self absorbed, the greedy, the hypocrites, who remain in the darkness and pledge their support to the large numbers of people who live their lives in the lies of those dark side. Hope they will one day see the t***h and come over to the sunny side. I can only hope and pray!

Donated a lot of money to the Republican party over the years. Got nothing in return. They will not get another dime from me. They are a lost cause.

We need a new third party and it should be named the Constitutional Party. The other two parties have let the American people down.

In any e******n it comes down to a choice. The question is what you are basing your choice on. If it is just because of the R or D after the name, you are more often than not going to be disappointed in the candidate's policies. The only candidate that matches all of your positions is yourself. You have to look at which candidate matches the most of your beliefs or there may be some policies that are non-negotiable for you. In some cases neither candidate is that good for your beliefs. In that case you cast your v**e against the one you believe is the worst of the two (choosing the lesser of two evils). I think some didn't care for Trump because they were jealous that he was rich, a television celebrity, successful businessman, although he has been married three times (not that uncommon any more) all three of his wives have been beautiful.
