You are misrepresenting this, it's an older executive order pertaining to vandalizing monuments, it sets the term at a maximum of ten years.

Breaching and overrunning the capital would have more like a minimum threshold of ten years, and ceilings out into 25 years if not life. Taking a crap and spreading it around...add ten years, bringing in weapons, a decade, bringing in zip tie handcuffs, another decade or life because it implies kidnapping or k*****g people, bombs...life

This is being rolled out as trump going tough when it is a trump DOJ going soft on the crimes of taking over the capital.

Bidens new DOJ will have to head this one, because trump is liable to pardon these creeps.

This thing is an insult, Trump's "law" doesn't begin to cover what the least liable criminal did here, these crimes start at 15 years or more, it's the way it is
