After witnessing the disturbing, deadly i**********n that took place on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., Simon & Schuster has decided to cancel publication of Senator John Hawley’s forthcoming book, THE TYRANNY OF BIG TECH. We did not come to this decision lightly. As a publisher it will always be our mission to amplify a variety of voices and viewpoints: at the same time we take seriously our larger public responsibilities as citizens, and cannot support Senator Hawley after his role in what became a dangerous threat to our democracy and freedom.

What absolute nonsense. And what astounding irony. Simon & Schuster is censoring a book on censorship.

I wonder if it upset Simon & Schuster’s delicate sensibilities over “democracy and freedom” when earlier this week A****a swarmed Josh Hawley’s home and terrorized his wife and newborn child.

Probably not. Because some “dangerous threats” are totally okay.

Josh Hawley had nothing to do with what happened at the Capitol. Not one thing.

But it doesn’t matter, does it?

Many people on TV and, likely most Americans, are saying that “this is the darkest day in our history.” It certainly is one of the darkest.

For me, this dark day did not begin today. This day began many days ago within many dark happenings.

It began the day that Hillary Clinton destroyed 30,000 emails on her personal computer.

It began the day FBI Comey announced to the American people that, although Hillary Clinton broke the law, he was not going to recommend that she be prosecuted.

It began the day in September 2015 when Democrats at the Senate confirmation hearing of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court worked to smear him with allegations from his youth that were not true.

It began the day the New York Times published an article 16 hours before Donald Trump was inaugurated suggesting that his impeachment was already underway.

It began the day Epstein was found dead in his federal jail cell.

It began the day Nancy Pelosi initiated a Donald Trump impeachment process based on one sentence from an initial phone conversation between Trump and the Ukraine President as a bait-and-switch to cover the Biden family’s money grab in that vulnerable country.

It began the day that H****r B***n’s personal computer was given to the FBI by a patriotic American.

It began the day that the Justice Department announced that H****r B***n was being investigated and, to date, no action has been taken on that investigation.

It began the day President Trump stopped the entry of Chinese citizens to the USA to stop the spread of the China v***s while Joe Biden called Trump a Xenophobe for doing that while Nancy Pelosi was in the streets of San Francisco’s China town encouraging people to come out into those streets to socialize and, later, having the audacity to tell the American public that Trump was incompetent in addressing the C****-** situation.

It began the day the Democrats decided to not acknowledge the Trump Presidency and, rather, did anything they could to destroy him and anyone who believed in him.

It began the day the American mainstream media, unilaterally, suppressed information that was positive for Trump and critical of Democrats.

It began the days that destructive r**ts in Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Washington DC, and other Democratic cities this summer took place with no action to stop them by the Democratic mayors and governors of those cities.

It began when Democrats started to tell Americans that A****a is an idea, not an organization.

It began when Democrats started to tell Americans that Black L***s M****r is an idea, not a political organization.

It began the day that, in three swing states, people who had no authority to do so, altered the e******n process in those states in ways that favored Democrats, bypassing their states’ constitutions.

It started the day that, God knows how, it came to pass that millions of unasked for p**********l v****g b****ts were sent to God knows who by God know who.

It began the day that no state or the American Supreme Court refused to hear Trump and many other’s appeal about how multiple illegal occurrences resulted in a change in the outcome of the 2020 P**********l e******n.

It began the day that the mainstream press and the Democrats declared that Donald Trump’s claim that the e******n was r****d was simply the wailings of a sore loser crazy man.

For me, what happened at our nation’s capital today, in no way started today.

First off it the publisher right not to publish a book, if they had said they weren’t going to publish Hillary Book you would be saying what a great move.
Secondly the great h**x of A****a attacking his home never happened yes they did peacefully protest in front of his home according to local police, left a copy of the constitution and wrote on the sideway( no pounding on the door or threading family)

A****a peacefully protesting! Hah!

SWMBO AND NPP. I'm a little younger than you but am glad my wife and I are on our down hill skid. Like you we're not so much worried for ourselves but my daughter, (not too much, she was raised to be smart and independent and married an amazing man.) but I truly worry for my grandkids.

I have hopefully set things up that when Gail and I are gone we've left enough to see them all through. I'm not talking about insurance or IRAs which we do have but actual tangible assets, Gold, silver, tons of different ammo they can use for barter, long term food. You get the drift.

I'm going this week to arrange for and pay for cremation for both my wife and I so when it comes, no one will have to deal with that or if it's me first, my wife won't need to worry herself. She is sliding into Demetria or maybe worse. A lot of shortness on her side. It's a good thing I'm pretty neutral and not easily upset and that I understand where the angst is coming from.

I pray to Jesus that you two remain healthy and enjoy your lives. God bless both of you. Mike
