You forgot one thing that he did and that was to compare the Republicans who fought against the e******n being confirmed as N**is. And that one of the people who stormed the capital was an A****a leader.
If the left does it it's okay but if the right does it, it's s******n, treason and everything else.
As Americans we have forgotten one important thing. We are Americans first and Republicans and Democrats, etc second. We need to come united under one f**g, one constitution, and one declaration of independence.
I'm not going to suggest that we become united under one president because that would be hypocritical of me because I'm never going to support him nor call him my president. Until somebody can, without a doubt, prove to me that the e******n wasn't stolen, I will always believe that it was.
The Democrats, Socialists and others on the left won't be satisfied until Trump is either in prison, impeached, or dead which ever comes first. Or maybe all three.
All President Trump tried to do, and was successful, was to do what was in the best interests of America and the American people. He brought a measure of peace to the Middle East and negotiated a trade agreement between the United States, Canada, and Mexico that was favorable to the United States. He did more to mend racial relations after Obama and the Democrats did more to cause problems.
Trump is only going to be president for 10 more days. It's time to leave him alone and let him serve out the remaining 10 days in peace. You Democrats got what you wanted. I just hope that you can live with the consequences of those that you elected. The problem is that we will also have to live with it as well.

While I agree with the sentiment, how do we do that when one side believes in the constitution as written and the other side believes it is a fluid document to be redefined by what ever way the wind is blowing at the time?
How do we do that when one side believes individual rights are the very basis of The United States and the other side believes collective rights supersede individual rights?

The US Constitution is not nor has it ever been a fluid document. While it can be amended to show changing times the basic notions are not fluid and it shouldn't be considered as such. Although there are some that consider it a pesky thing that is outdated and should be replaced by anything else.
Maybe the answer to your questions lies with compromise. Or maybe the answer lies in a very complete and thorough examination of the times when the constitution was written. What were the issues that they were attempting to resolve by what they did? S***ery was probably the biggest but it was more important to unite the colonies than it was to do away with it. So they put it on the back burner for a future generation to solve. And it took another century and the bloodiest war in American history to solve it.
If the country can be united after that war, then the country can unite again. People on both sides just need to wake up and realize who the real enemy is and then come together to destroy that enemy.

All my life I have watched government grow slower under Republicans and faster under democrats. Never shrink. Always expand. I would certainly be willing to compromise on how slowly or quickly we reduce that influence that the federal government has over state, local and individuals. I am no longer willing to compromise on how quickly federal government influence over individual and state rights is increased.
