"The Caine Mutiny": I watched it on TV ten years after its release

What struck me when the movie was over was that his fellow officers in the chain of commend made little to no effort for compassion, to help Captain Queeg through his mental difficulties. Would it have made any difference is an unknown and that is the shame of this exceptional movie. I came to remember this movie after just now reading that soon-to-be-ex-president Trump has been banned from Twitter, his go to place to express himself. There was a strange twinge of sympathy for him. That really surprised me. Maybe he was not as insane Captain Queeg was, in a clinical sense, but he was isolated in his ignominious defeat and his voice was silenced. No matter how terrible I thought he was, it seemed cruel. He has accepted his loss, excoriated the r****rs, and offered a peaceful t***sition of power. Let him go in peace and forget the past.

I doubt that the Trumps will go quietly off into the night! šŸ˜Ž

Hopefully, he and other Americans that support the constitution and what it stands for, will create platforms that will insure both sides the freedom to express their opinions and to report all facts and t***h, that at this time, some very powerful evil liberals are attempting to destroy both conservatives and the Republican Party! Iā€™m afraid that the little taste of violence that we witnessed this week will be just a preview if this continues........and if this forum is any indication, all I see is a doubling down of h**e, lies, insults and payback! IMHO!

It is very surprising to see something like that from you. Will you be applying the same gauges to Beijing Biden that you did to Trump. If you do, I'll really give you some credit even if I can't stand you because of what you did to Trump.

Way, way too funny. What I did to Trump? Trump can take full credit for that.
