Definition of i**********n

What is the definition of that term i**********n that has been bandied about for the last two days. Well, here are the first three I found on the Internet

1. an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

2. an act or instance of rising in revolt, r*******n, or resistance against civil authority or an established government.

3. A rising or r*******n of citizens against their government, usually manifested by acts of violence.

Well, on Wednesday, some members of a crowd of mostly Donald Trump supporters, did in fact breach police lines and force their way into the Capital building of the United States.
1A. well, some did revolt against civil authority by forcing their way past police and other security and forced their way into the Capital building. I**********n, yes by a leaderless mob. Who then rendered minimal damage. Acted more like tourists on the most part.
1B. Revolting against an established Government. I**********n, no. They in no way interfered directly in the established government. Agreed, they fled in fear, but were not directly challenged while exercising their civic duties of the day. Slightly postponed at best.
2A. Rising in revolt. I**********n, no. It was a small mob that got out of control for a short time.
2B. R*******n. I**********n, no. They were mainly there in the area to show their objections to what they felt was a steal of the last P**********l e******n. Some were led by a few agitators of so far unknown affiliations.
2C. Resistance against civil authority. I**********n, yes. See 1A.
2D. or an established government. I**********n, no. See 1B.
3A. rising or r*******n of citizens against their government. I**********n, no. Mostly peaceful protesters in disagreement with e******n results. Some of the crowd did invade the Capital building, but did not deliberately or actively physically attack the Government in the exercising of their duties of the day.
3B. manifested by acts of violence. I**********n, no. There were acts of violence, but none directed directly at their government in the acts of carrying out their duties of the day.

Did President Trump encourage those that violated the law as called out in any definition. I**********n, no. He cheered them on in a very enthusiastic manner, to let the Government officials who were carrying on their duties of the day, to let them know they felt their rights were taken from then in s****n e******ns, and they were upset by this body accepting the results of those alleged violations of their rights, and making those results permanent.

Now, lets look at other instances of possible I**********n over the last 8 months or so. Were various so called peaceful demonstrators in cities all over America in violation of 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, and 3B. I**********n, yes on all counts in various levels in cities everywhere, and still on going in Portland almost daily. They continually attacked police with various missiles and incendiary devices and electronic devices with deliberate intent to harm and frequently successful. They continually breached police lines, often leading to injuries to police officers. They damaged building everywhere with graffiti, broken windows, l**ting, arson and even burning citizens homes and government buildings and other properties. They damaged countless cars, many burned in celebratory fires. They damaged and tore down monuments and statues across America. Much of this was with our public officials, officially or effectively, backing down and allowing these I**********ns to continue. Occasionally with the loss of lives of Police, other protesters and innocents, attacked at will and if not k**led, severally, physically wounded and their personal property like vehicles damaged or destroyed. These officials were Governors, Mayors and States Attorneys often aligned with Goerge Soros, who let protester/i**********nists out without charges on an on going basis. While these protesters were definitely I**********nists, so were the many politicians who were effectively allowing and abetting the o*******w or damage to the stability and respect for the offices they led and were in charge of protecting. Willful acquiesce to the I**********nists. If anything, these officials encouraged the acts of J** 6, letting civilians think that they could do these sort of things as seen daily across America, without consequence.

And now they want to invoke amendment 25 against President Trump in an act of I**********n against the Presidency of the United States. And if that doesn't work, they want to jam through an impeachment against President Trump, hours or mere days before he is leaving anyway, in another vengeful act of utter hatred of a President whose main fault was trying to save America from those various elements who were destroying America from within, including those that would impeach him.

And keep in mind that these people who are yelling i**********n were effectively threatening to massively change the character of America, with outrageous leftism, and cement this with packing the Supreme Court by enlarging it and putting in only l*****ts, packing the Senate with adding new states that would be solid Democrat, and eliminating the filibuster in the Senate, a time honored tradition that gave voice to minority parties. They have already stifled minority parties in the House with new rules specifically to stifle minority party voices.

In summary, In my opinion, many of these so called officials of our governments are the ones causing i**********n, by not stopping the i**********ns for eight months and now trough a dishonest e******n are trying to take over America on a permanent basis by i**********n by changing our laws and the balance in America in such a manner as to put them in power for ever and against the best interests of Americans.

So I guess the police officer that was beaten with a fire extinguisher and later died in the hospital didn’t count for s**t under your theories.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you say. The problem is, the damn democrats will push wh**ever they can, whether it's legal or not and the republicans sit on their ass and let them do it. Then when the republicans do something the demos don't like, all hell breaks loose from their side and they want to get rid of Trump any way they can. Are the Repubs doing anything about it, noooo. In fact a lot of them have sided with the democrats. So with that being said, what should the citizens do? The country is going to hell in a handbasket and most of our politicians are pushing it. Biden got the highest count of v**ers in our history and all he had to do was sit on his ass in his basement and do nothing. Now does that sound like an honest e******n? Guaranteed, had the shoe been on the other foot, the damn democrats would have upset the world trying to prove fraud.

Absolutely it was an i**********n. Read your definition again. It was an attempted duck dynasty c**p attempt as well.

No question’ that Trump’s words sparked violence at U.S. Capitol: experts

https://globalnews.ca/news/7560645/trump-sparked-capitol-violence-experts/

After months of making false claims that the e******n was s****n from him, U.S. President Donald Trump told his supporters Wednesday at the ‘Save America’ rally in Washington, “Our country has had enough, and we will not take it anymore,” and then urged the crowd to “fight like hell.”

The crowd cheered and yelled, “Fight for Trump! Fight for Trump! Fight for Trump!”

Hours later, thousands of protesters marched to Capitol Hill, swarming the building, breaking windows, battling police in the hallways and delaying the certification of Democratic president-elect Joe Biden’s victory for hours.

And the president’s messaging helped sparked the violence, critics said.

British interior minister Priti Patel told the BBC on Thursday, the events were “terrible beyond words,” and Trump had not only failed to de-escalate the violence but fueled it.

“His comments directly led to the violence, and so far, he has failed to condemn that violence and that is completely wrong,” Patel, who is in charge of security and policing in Britain, said.

Ryan Hurl, an assistant professor of political science at the University of Toronto, said he believes Trump’s words “promoted” his supporters to storm the Capital building.

But whether it was intentional, Hurl said he’s not sure.

On Dec. 19, Trump tweeted about the Washington protest, saying “Big protest in D.C. on J****** 6th. Be there, will be wild!”

During the protests, but before the breach of the Capitol building, Trump spoke to a large crowd.

“And after this, we’re going to walk down there, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down … to the Capitol and we are going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women,” Trump told the protesters.

“And we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. Because you’ll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.”

Trump then told the crowd the p**********l e******n was “r****d” by “radical democrats” and the “f**e news media.”

“We will never give up. We will never concede. It doesn’t happen. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved,” Trump said.

Later, as the protesters broke through barriers and swarmed the U.S. Capitol building, Trump took to Twitter and called out Vice President Mike Pence.

Despite repeated pressure from Trump to help overturn his e******n loss, Pence formally certified Biden as the winner of the p**********l e******n on Wednesday.

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the t***h!”

About 10 minutes later, Trump followed with a tweet asking the r****rs to “stay peaceful and support law enforcement.”

Some of Trump’s tweets addressing the r**t were deleted. Twitter then suspended Trump’s account for 12 hours, saying the posts were “repeated and severe violations” of the platform’s Civic Integrity policy.

During the r**ts, Trump posted a video to Twitter, which was also taken down, that addressed the violence.

“I know your pain. I know you’re hurt. We had an e******n that was stolen from us. It was a landslide e******n and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order … So go home. We love you, you’re very special … I know how you feel. But go home and go home in peace.”

On Thursday, Facebook and Instagram announced the blocking of Trump’s accounts “indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful t***sition of power is complete.”

‘A call for action’
Edward Schatz, an associate pressor of political science at the University of Toronto, said: “there is no question” that Trump’s speeches and tweets over the past few weeks, months, and even years had an impact on his followers.

“They think of it as a call for action and a call for solidarity,” he said. “In a way, he’s been priming them for years … all it takes is what they call a ‘dog whistle’ to set people in motion.”

Schatz said although it’s hard to ignore the chain of events that led to the r**ts, legally, it’s difficult to say whether Trump will be held accountable.

Hurl agreed, adding that he hopes Trump has seen “he’s gone too far.”

“The only way for him to rescue his reputation is to take every opportunity to condemn the violence and extremists,” he said.

Politicians from the left and right were also quick to call out the president for inciting violence.

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser on Thursday said that Trump must be held accountable for the Capitol Hill r**ts, claiming what happened on Wednesday “is what he wanted to happen.”

The same day, Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger called on invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.

“Sadly yesterday, it became evident that not only has the president abdicated his duty to protect the American people … he invoked and inflamed passions that only gave fuel to the i**********n we saw here,” he said on a video posted on Twitter.

U.S. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer also called on Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to immediately remove Trump from office, saying that if he does not act, Congress should impeach the president.
GOP Senator Ben Sasse said in a statement on Wednesday that the Capitol “was ransacked while the leader of the free world cowered behind his keyboard — tweeting against his vice president for fulfilling the duties of his oath to the Constitution.”

“Lies have consequence,” Sasse added. “This violence was the inevitable and ugly outcome of the president’s addiction to constantly stoking division.”
