The U.S. C*****l P****e officer who sustained injuries during the pro-Trump siege at the Capitol on Wednesday and later died was a member of the Air National Guard.

Brian D. Sicknick enlisted in the New Jersey Air National Guard in 1997 and served for six years, spokeswoman Lt. Col. Barbara Brown confirmed to Military.com on Friday.

Sicknick's duties included serving as a fire team member and leader with the 108th Security Force Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Brown said. He deployed to Saudi Arabia in 1999 as part of Operation Southern Watch and to Kyrgyzstan in 2003 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was honorably discharged in 2003 as a staff sergeant, she said.

Can you get anymore disrespectful than this? How dare you compare Wednesday to Dec 7, 1941!👿👿👿👿👿👿

Let me share with you what that day was!

The day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, President Roosevelt appeared before a joint session of Congress and declared, “Yesterday, December 7, 1941–a date which will live in infamy–the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.” After a brief and forceful speech, he asked Congress to approve a resolution recognizing the state of war between the United States and Japan. The Senate v**ed for war against Japan by 82 to 0, and the House of Representatives approved the resolution by a v**e of 388 to 1. The sole dissenter was Representative Jeannette Rankin of Montana, a devout pacifist who had also cast a dissenting v**e against the U.S. entrance into World War I. Three days later, Germany and Italy declared war against the United States, and the U.S. government responded in kind.

The American contribution to the successful Allied war effort spanned four long years and cost more than 400,000 American lives.

Spare me the lecture. I wasn’t referring to that “day of infamy”, just this latest one. Agreed 400,000 casualties did not occur but there is no contextual equivalency. Wednesday’s illegal invasion by a disorganized rabble, waving Confederate f**gs and erecting a gallows outside the building was a serious if undisciplined threat to our democracy and gave comfort to our foreign adversaries. Our reputation and standing in the international community, already weather beaten after 4 years of abuse and neglect by an incompetent rageaholic took a solid kick in the guts over both the intrusion and its weak response on Wednesday.

Spare me the lecture! You liberals have gotten away with murder....literally! You have burned, destroyed, followed us around, attacked our CHILDREN, controlled blocks of cities......and the list continues! This e******n is a mockery of what this country stands for! Your mockery of “the day of infamy” is just one of example of many!

The threat to democracy has been committed by all you liberals that have discarded all semblance of decency and integrity by ignoring the abuse of this e******n! You can’t put this genie back in the bottle! It’s just the beginning! The fight for America is on!

I have never been part of any of your hysterical accusations above. I have threatened no one either directly or online for any reason. Oh and one more thing. I was not part of the scatterbrained redneck white trash rabble that broke into the Capitol with weapons and zip ties smearing human feces on the walls of our hallowed Citadel of Democracy and taking part in the k*****g of a Federal Officer doing his duty.
