This is going to go a lot farther than a peaceful protest gone wrong, this didn't just get out of hand, it was planned at far deeper levels than we thing...try the morons and trump loyalists trump replaced the top echelon of the pentagon with. The pentagon was drawn into requests for assistance to police for a well known and warned about right wing terrorist presence. Top pentagon officials that are the ones that approve and coordinate resources were denying bolstering of police presences, they went so far as to prohibit the national guard from even sharing or letting the police use better crowd control equipment...this was an intentional softening of even the normal crowd control expected for such an extraordinary heightened security event, let alone one that had the most violent of the right wing anti government groups threatening and promising violence.

The heads of counter terrorism intelligence groups were fired and replaced with toadies that furthered this inside cooperation with not having an adequate response to these right wing terrorist groups.

In the coming weeks we are going to be seeing what the trump appointed heads of our national security apparatus did not prepare for, which is enabling and aiding what happened. There should have at the very least been 200 crowd control equipped personnel protecting the capital. Protecting would mean to try to breach security of the building should have resulted in being shot. This was an ultimate security event, and it warranted ultimate levels of protection for the vice president, speakers of the house and senate, and the senators and representatives who were there.

Lower echelons knew what was needed, and they were denied that from the top, and that was trump people.

Anyone breaking a window to open a door or get through should have been shot, any single capital cop that was carrying a Glock would have 17 round magazines, at least two and under these conditions they should have been carrying four or five and been prepared to use them.

This is how A****a or B*M would have been dealt with had they planned this for weeks the way right wing groups did, and that is how this needed to be handled.

A****a and B*M doing the same thing would have been called a mostly peaceful protest. Those groups did much worse for months and are still fauned over by the media and the left. As far as the national guard being told to not get involved blame DCs mayor. You need to realize that millions of people have completely lost any faith in our government institutions and the media. It is the complete lack of any honest media coverage that has created this problem, and it won't get any better until CNN and their ilk are forced to be honest with the American people.
