NO, we seem to agree, that would leave even more animosity and anger.. we need to get together somehow and that would not help.. Maybe isolate him or prevent any rash action on his part.. do not know how that could be done..

Yes, root them out and put them down if they continue to violently protest. This is about shutting him down in terms of further damage. Supporters looking to go violent will anyway, may as well get it over with.
