Most of the media "carries water" for her. Her sense of entitlement is beyond laughable.

Near as i can tell, almost ALL th politicians think they are God's Anointed. Would anyone who didn't have an ego the size of Mount Everest want to be President? Some of them just hide it a littel better. GW Bush and Reagan were good at pretend folksiness. But did they associate with real people? Not on your life ! Only with their biillionaire backers. Niether of Clintons ever had a real job in their life, and niether did any of the Bush boys. OR Mr Spock in the White House.
But one the other hand, don't believe everything you read. There are always people with an axe to grind.

Actually the Bush families were not pretend folksy.

Yes, they were rich and hung out with other rich people. But they were honorable, and treated others with dignity.

I read a book on W and a part of it was interviews with the white house wait staff, cooks, housekeepers, etc... They all said the Kennedy, Reagan and both Bush families always treated the staff well, thanked them, appreciated them, and often spoke to them about their families and shared stories with them. They also said Bill Clinton was OK, the Carters and Hillary were horrendous in how they treated them.

Hillary would walk right down the middle of the corridors and the wait staff and low level secretarial types were ordered to lower their eyes, avoid eye-to-eye contact, and quickly slip through the nearest door so as not to get too close to the Queen and invade her space.

The Bush family had class. They had personal dignity. The Clinton and Carter families were just plain trash. Trash doesn't mean poor BTW. They're rich now, and they're still trash. No character. No dignity. No class.

I've not heard how the Obama family treats the staff, but given Obama's lack of class and civility, I suspect he's like Hillary. Perhaps worse.

Well, I have read that the Bushes have no more social graces than a bunch of robots. And that Bill Clinton is a freindly, charming fellow to everyone, NOT just on stage. so i guess different people have different opinions.
Also keep in mind that writing ANYTHING that trashes a prominent Dem or praises the far right viewpoint, is a *guaranteed payday*. Rightwing foundations buy lots and lots of them and put them on the NY best seller list and guys like Limbaugh praise them. the idea is to get people to BUY propaganda and read it as if is was serious literature.
I agree with you on one thing for sure-i would not trust Hillary Clinton any farther than i could throw a big fat bull by the tail! Unfortunately the only Repub i would trust would be Ron Paul. He might have some odd ideas but he seems both honest and comparatively sane. BUt the GOP party bosses h**e him more than they h**e HRC, and the mass media seems to think he's Hitler reborn.

It's an known fact that the Bush families are of a much classier group than the Clintons and Carters were. This isn't the primary reason to v**e for someone, but it's nice to have people with dignity and class.

The Clintons gave great parties. Bill had a knack for feeling other people's pain. He was a hoot at parties. But that's not what I'm talking about.

Even the sycophantic press that loved the Democrats took note of the grace and real, unpolitical warmth of the Bushes, and to a lesser extent Ronald Reagan. Nancy was not as personable, but was nowhere in the league of a Lear Jet Liberal.

"known fact"? Known by who? i don't pay much attention to social stuff, but what i *have* read always said the bushes were cold fish although GW and Jeb can *f**e*a human warmth . As you say, i i have always read that Bill C. for all his faults , is a warm and charming man. A people person, not a technocrat like Carter. I have never seen anyone accuse Jimmy Carter of bad character or bad manners. But remember he was a Navy officer. Trained to command nuclear submarines. A ship captain has to be aloof and superior, he can't be one of the boys. And a *nuclear sub* captain has to be a nuclear engineer as well, which Carter is.Maybe the habit stuck?
